Hi, my name is Heather Braegger, owner of Defiance Martial Arts in Brigham City, UT.  I want to take a moment and thank you for visiting our website.  I also want to say THANK YOU for considering our Kickboxing Classes.  If you are willing to push yourselves, mentally, physically and QUIT making excuses.  You will see life-altering changes, but, I’ve also seen people fail.

This is how you become successful:  YOU SHOW UP!  You do that, and we’ll make sure you reach your goals.  You must be disciplined, coming in, even when you don’t feel like it.  We all have up and down days.  Consistency is the key to results!

You are going to have to earn your results.  Know that we are committed to YOUR success!  We’re going to push you past your comfort zone, and you WILL want to give up.  Your negative inner voice will chime in and tell you to quit, you can’t do it, but deep down, you know it isn’t true!  We’ll be here to help you every step of the way!

  •           As we age it’s harder to stay in shape, that’s why it is so imperative to build lean muscle mass!  Muscle burns fat! 
  •         Confidence comes with being committed and accepting this is something new.  If you FEEL strong, you will act strong!
  •          We are social creatures, cubicals, television and technology can sometimes make us shut the world out.  We’re inviting you to come and punch some bags and destress while having a blast!
  •          Worried about flexibility, we promise, you do not need to be a gymnast ;)  After a few weeks of kickboxing classes, you’ll see increases in your range of motion and feeling stronger.
  •         Motivation is a huge key to success, we ARE NOT a ‘big box gym’ you could join a gym, and not have any instruction, or come in and learn how to train safely, effectively and have a blast.  Success is what we foster in our school.
